As some of you may have noticed, we’ve spent the last 6 months working on a complete new website design in order to showcase our projects, create a new contact point and share our thoughts via the new addition of ‘The Reveil’.

During the planning process, we changed our direction so many times we lost count. We tried elaborate graphics, then more minimal styles, experimented with new fonts, reimagined our colour palette but it turns out we were making this much more complicated. Over a coffee we put our heads together and decided it was time to get some imagery, not just of our projects and designs but a series of photographs that capture the essence of TEK

There and then we emailed our friends over at Handover to tell them our idea and plan a date to make this idea a reality. We stumbled across the idea of still life, looking at our existing imagery which focuses on previous interior projects and we wanted to discover a way of using materials and tools that would showcase our vast variety of skills as a multidisciplinary creative studio.

In the series of photographs we created with Handover, we gathered together a mixture of elements that would do the speaking for us. All tools photographed are material samples, wood off cuts or tools from previous projects, reimagined ~ all objects that make up TEK. Special thanks to Handover for bringing our vision to life!
